**Base Location**:Montrose (Ideally - applicants will live within a commutable distance of Montrose)

**Salary**:£38,073 - £44,257 + Shift Allowance + Performance-related Bonus + A range of other benefits to support your family, finances, and wellbeing.

**Working Pattern**:Permanent | Full Time | Onshore | Shift Pattern

**What is the Role?**

Based in our dedicated control room in Montrose and working on a shift pattern, you will play a pivotal role within the team monitoring and controlling the operation of our Seagreen Offshore Wind Farm. You will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the assets and coordination of our offshore personnel / vessels, working to safely maximise generation.

In this role you will:

- Monitor and control a 1075MW offshore wind farm.
- Co-ordinate with personnel working offshore during operational and maintenance activities to ensure safe delivery of all planned and unplanned works.
- Ensure that the wind farm operates at all times within any Environmental, Health and Safety consent or obligation.
- Perform safe and controlled release of wind turbines and associated plant for planned maintenance.
- Respond remotely to turbine alarms and grid instructions.
- Track personnel attendance at site locations.
- Monitor the offshore HV network.
- Act as a central contact for co-ordination in Emergency Response and incident reporting.
- Conduct planning reviews that require collaboration with contractors on site.
- Already possess, or be willing to obtain, an SSE authorisation to perform the duties of a System Controller under the Operational Safety Rules (OSR) and under the (WTSR) Wind Turbine Safety Rules.

**What do I need?**

To be considered for this role, we would love you to have:

- Background in Electrical, Mechanical, C&I or similar / equivalent.
- Competent in the co-ordination of Contractors/Sub-Contractors at site level.
- Authorised or working towards authorisation within an Operational Safety Rules / Safe System of Work environment.
- Ability to perform or willingness to undertake duties such as System Controller under OSRs / WTSR's.
- Knowledge of HV safety rules and safe systems of work.
- A good understanding of electrical system operations with the ability to read and understand electrical single line diagrams.
- The ability to work across multiple systems and processes, with varied and limited complexity.
- Knowledge of operational offshore wind farms and associated infrastructure (BOP, WTG and OFTO) is desirable.
- Full understanding of offshore work requirements, environment, planning and SHE risks.
- Strong SHE aptitude and ability to work as part of a team.
