Job Role: Pricing Coordinator
Location: Thatcham, Berks
**Salary**: Attractive
Hours: 37.5 per week (Mon-Fri)
Office Based
As the pricing coordinator for this leading European manufacturer you will be responsible for supporting the external sales community with accurate pricing, tender documentation and cost modelling to secure future and maintain existing sales run rates.
This company work with some huge household brands such as Weetabix, Dominos and Mr Kipling to name just a few. They are a global organisation with 9,000 employees across Europe and the site in Thatcham has over 200 people working on site.
Job Responsibilities:
- Price new/current specifications for new and existing customers and produce quotations. This will involve liaison with internal departments (design, customer service, external sales) to ensure accuracy of information
- Support the external sales community with the preparatory commercial work for tenders
- Support the external sales community in the final commercial negotiations (cost model, price lists, tender templates, etc) with customers when requested
- Secure the accurate maintenance and update of SAP costing system.
- Secure the accurate general price updates, including the launch of new customers pricelists
- Help and support the external sales and technical department to deal with Business Improvement Projects analysis and resolution
- Liaise with customer service to ensure correct pricing of orders
- Support Commercial Manager with ad hoc requested projects, analysis and reports
- Sustain the Group´s Management System relating to the sales and commercial activity
- Comply with communication and reporting procedures defined within the Commercial & Marketing organization for securing a perfect alignment with all stakeholders.
- Use the business information systems of the company, to ensure maximum reliability of reporting for sound decision making
- Actively participate in his/her own training program definition and implementation, supporting new training initiatives and reporting any detected skills that would need to be reinforced for his/her own benefit
Skills Required:
- PC literate, with a complete understanding of Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Knowledge of SAP would be advantageous
- Experience of working with pricing and quotations
- Adept at creating and maintaining detailed and accurate pricing information
- Excellent interpersonal skills including strong verbal and written communication
- Able to organise and prioritise work load in order to meet tight deadlines and the ability to work under pressure
- Experience operating within a Commercial capacity and understanding of Microeconomics (balance sheet, profit and loss account, etc.) is desirable
