Rikshawaz is a celebration of flavor, fire, and feast — a vibrant dining experience inspired by South Asian street food with a modern twist. We are looking for an energetic, skilled, and creative bartender to join our team and bring our drinks menu to life.

As a Bartender at Rikshawaz, you will be responsible for preparing and serving a wide variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, delivering excellent customer service, and ensuring guests enjoy a memorable bar experience. You will also have the opportunity to showcase your creativity by curating cocktails, mocktails, and wine pairings that complement our unique food menu.

Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve cocktails, wines, mocktails, and other beverages to a high standard.
- Develop and recommend new drink creations to enhance the bar menu.
- Ensure consistent quality and presentation of all beverages.
- Provide excellent customer service, engaging with guests in a professional and friendly manner.
- Maintain bar cleanliness, stock levels, and comply with hygiene and safety standards.
- Manage bar inventory, including ordering and restocking spirits, wines, mixers, and garnishes.
- Advise customers on wine selections and pairing options with food.
- Handle cash and card transactions accurately and responsibly.
- Work efficiently during busy service hours, ensuring quick and quality delivery.

Required Skills & Qualifications
- Proven experience as a bartender in a restaurant, bar, or hospitality setting.
- Strong knowledge of classic and modern cocktails, mixology techniques, and garnishing.
- Understanding of wine service, including tasting notes, food pairings, and proper serving techniques.
- Ability to craft creative mocktails with balance, flavor, and presentation.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a guest-focused approach.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask under pressure.
- Knowledge of bar equipment, hygiene, and health & safety regulations.
- Positive attitude, teamwork skills, and passion for hospitality.

Desirable
- Mixology or wine certification (WSET, BarSmarts, or equivalent).
- Experience in creating signature drinks and seasonal menus.
- Flair bartending skills (an advantage but not essential).

Pay: £12.21-£18.41 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
