Our client are specialists in their market sector, they have an outstanding opportunity for a Production Supervisor to join them on a permanent basis. If you are a highly experienced Production Supervisor this role could be ideal for you.

**Job Specification**:
**The Job you’ll do**
- Implementation of the objectives set by senior management.
- Uphold the company’s values of safety, quality, and performance.
- Comply with all statutory legislation.
- Implementation of work schedules and job roles for employees.
- Reviewing the progress and quality of work for teams reporting to the Production & Logistics Manager - including checking that the work completed satisfies the business’s quality standards.
- Promote 5S to employees within the Production department
- Monitor and Achieve KPI’s relating to the Production department.
- Providing support and guidance on work related procedures or policies.
- Lead teams from other departments in solving problems on machinery and procedures.
- Coaching employees in developing their skills and knowledge, including providing opportunity for employees to learn new skills.
- Relay improvement ideas to senior managers.
- Encouraging and motivating your team.
- Collaborate with technical and quality departments on associated projects.
- Lead employees in line with the company disciplinary procedure reporting any disciplinary action needed to the Production & logistics Manager.
- Lead and train a setting team to agreed process and document machine settings and update product samples and drawings.

**About You**
- Understanding of H&S requirements in a manufacturing environment.
- 5S and lean management principles and practices.
- Basic understanding of roll-forming and press operation.
- Knowledge of ISO 9001 quality management system.
- Knowledge of ISO 14001 environmental management system.
- Planning/scheduling production.
- Application of problem-solving techniques in real world situations.
- Good communication skills.
- Ability to write and present reports using Microsoft Office.
- Experience in planning labour and machine capacities required to complete monthly production requirements.
- Experience in leading teams ensuring cost effective running of the production facilities.
- Training of employees to company works processes and document training.
