The Facilities Coordinator will play a key role in co-ordinating facilities maintenance, and ongoing monitoring of supply to NHS and private clinics. They will be able to demonstrate the ability to work with a high level of autonomy together with a flexible and adaptive approach to your work. They must be organised and able to manage multiple projects confidently whilst demonstrating outstanding attention to detail. The role holder must have excellent communication skills, both written and oral and must be confident communicating with individuals at all levels. They will be required to engage with both internal and external stakeholders and develop productive working relationships whilst working to tight deadlines.

**Responsibilities**:

- Take responsibility for the day to day running and maintenance including dealing with utilities, waste management, security etc for all Cyted facilities.
- Responsibility for establishing and maintaining Health and Safety and related policies within the facilities
- Ensure staff have the facilities and materials to ensure smooth running of their roles and responsibilities.
- Maintain service contracts relevant to services in the facility.
- Establishing and maintaining relationships with internal/external contractors responsible for building maintenance.
- Provide support in the build work planning and execution of any new laboratory/office facilities.
- Facilitate with relocation activities as and when required.
- Engaging with the implementation and laboratory team to ensure timely delivery of services.
- Engaging with internal operational teams to define and execute specific facility requirements and specifications
- Set goals, develop relevant KPIs and drive continuous improvement processes to contribute to the overall facility management.
**Working pattern, location and salary**:
The role is a full-time position with a standard 37.5 hour working week. The role holder may be required to work flexibly.

The Facilities Coordinator will be based at the Cyted’s Head Office, WeWork, 50-60 Station Road, Cambridge, CB1 2JH. The Facilities Coordinator may need to visit other company sites when and if required.

**Qualifications and background**:

- Undergraduate degree or above
**Experiences**
- Minimum 2 years’ experience of with facilities management
- Has business domain knowledge in laboratory facilities, and in particular the handling and maintenance of diagnostic healthcare products
- Experience of relocation between facilities
- Experience in laboratory management in an area relevant to biological studies
- Good IT skills
