**Overview**

**Responsibilities**
- Operate a van or similar vehicle to transport goods to designated locations.
- Ensure timely delivery of packages while adhering to scheduled routes.
- Perform heavy lifting as required for loading and unloading items.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries and pick-ups.
- Communicate effectively with warehouse staff and customers regarding delivery status and any issues that may arise.
- Conduct routine checks on the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition.
- Follow all traffic laws and safety regulations during transportation.
- Assist with warehouse duties when not on delivery runs, including sorting and organising packages.

**Skills**
- Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role, preferably with commercial driving experience.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and manage physical demands of the job.
- Strong communication skills for effective interaction with customers and team members.
- Familiarity with warehouse operations is advantageous.
- Excellent time management skills to ensure punctual deliveries.
- A valid driving licence appropriate for the vehicle being operated is essential.
- A good understanding of road safety regulations and best practices in driving.

Pay: £500.00-£750.00 per week

**Experience**:

- Delivery driver experience: 1 year (preferred)
- Driving: 1 year (preferred)

Willingness to travel:

- 75% (preferred)
