UK eCommerce Director

UK eCommerce Director - based anywhere in UK with travel as required.
An opportunity has arisen for a UK eCommerce Director to join our clients national sales function and lead the eCommerce team as they continue to expand their offering in this sector.
You will be responsible for growing our clients market position and volume within the various eCommerce routes to market. Developing a robust and differentiated go-to-market strategy and successfully implementing to ensure they remain as a thought and market leader in the supply of eCommerce corrugated packaging.
Key accountabilities include:
*Lead, manage and coach central eCommerce team to surpass team and individual objectives, with strong focus on new business and key account management.
*Influence local OPCO's to drive local new business initiatives, as well as developing production/sales capabilities.
*Develop eCommerce go-to-market strategy and deploy to ensure all objectives are surpassed.
*Upskill local sales, technical and design community on eCommerce customer needs.
*Develop customer case studies and communicate across the internal network.
*Maximise the growth opportunities to utilise testing capabilities of new packaging lab through a clearly defined sales approach.
*Working alongside OPCO Senior Management and UK Excomm to identify CAPEX investment opportunities to drive eCommerce growth.
*Liaise with European counter-parts to drive knowledge sharing, identify best practices, collaborate on cross-border customer opportunities.
*Partner with key entities such as Machine Systems, Recycling and Bag-in-Box to develop unique go-to-market solutions with aim of locking in new business.
*Continuous drive on NPD to ensure they remain at fore-front with added-value structural and graphical solutions.
*Need to adopt 'value selling' as the default approach in all customer developments, with focus on maximising the customer experience, reducing operational cost/risk, as well as improving sustainability credentials.
*Management of Key eCommerce accounts at UK level, ensuring customer and business needs are met at all times.
*Work alongside supply chain partners to unearth new innovation and growth opportunities.
*Collaborate with internal marketing teams to ensure they remain as thought-leaders within the eCommerce packaging space.
*Collaborate with internal Supply Chain teams to ensure capacity planning is optimised in order to meet the Peak Q4 demand requirements for eCommerce customers.
*Utilisation of CRM to capture individual and eCommerce team pipelines, won and lost opportunities and reporting purposes.
*Qualified to degree level or equivalent
*A confident and articulate individual who will be able to offer high levels of personal drive and focus
*Excellent presentation skills
*Excellent customer relationship building skills with the ability to communicate at all levels
*Highly organised with strong attention to detail, team player, able to prioritise workload and meet deadlines
*Financial acumen and understanding of the key business drivers
*Excellent interpersonal, influencing and negotiation skills, with the ability to identify margin enhancement opportunities
