We have an exciting opportunity for a Mental Health Clinical Lead to join our Mental Health team. Working across 2 sites, **HMP Foston Hall**, a Female Prison and YOI located in Derby and **HMP Sudbury**, a category D adult male Prison, located in Ashbourne. Both sites are 5 miles apart in location.
Working one day a week at Sudbury and 4 days at Foston Hall. Parking on both sites and logístically due to working across two sites, ideally you must be a driver. Onsite training provided and Managers Development programme which is encouraged to join.
**Hours**
37.5 hours working either 8-4pm or 9-5pm, Monday to Fridays. No weekends or nights. Occasional requirement to work weekends at Foston Hall but very rare.
**Salary**
This position is full time, you’ll receive an annual salary up to £55996**_ _**per annum FTE - depending on experience.

**What you'll be doing**:
As a Mental Health Clinical Lead, your responsibilities will vary. You will
- Work as part of and lead the Mental Health team within the Integrated Healthcare Services team.
- Provide clinical leadership and management to Registered nurses and allied health professionals.
- Establish inter-agency working where necessary to ensure good communication increases quality of care for patients.
- Provide nursing triage and screening and assessment.
- Actively participate with the development of local operating procedures to ensure pathways are clear for clinicians
- Nurse lead treatment or care within mental health
- Confirm waiting list are well managed ensuring mínimal waiting times for patients
- Medicines management/advice including supporting medicine administration
- Maintain accurate documentation of assessment, planning and treatment of patients.
- Working closely with the Head of Healthcare ensuring that reports and other measures are accurately
completed within deadlines.

**Qualifications required**
- Registered Mental Health Nurse (Currently registered with the Nursing & Midwifery Council)
- BSc or equivalent qualification
- Experience of providing supervision and or leading a team
- Teaching / Mentoring experience and /or qualification ExperienceEvidence of appropriate continuing professional development activity to maintain up-to-date knowledge and on-going competence in all aspects of the role
- Although not essential ideal applicants would have experience in a hospital, community or prison environment.
