Lewis Cleansing is recruiting a part-time Site Operative at a school positioned in Far Forest, Kidderminster.

Hours: 10 hours per week, 39 weeks a year, Monday to Friday (06:00AM - 07:00AM & 17:30PM - 18:30PM).

**Salary**: £11.00 per hour (paid pro-rata)

Your duty as a Site Supervisor is to ensure the general security, safety and cleanliness of the school premises and grounds, are maintained to a high standard, in accordance with the schools expectations, and relevant health and safety policies.

Your key responsibilities will include:

- To ensure the safe maintenance of premises, plant, machinery and equipment, repairing basic damage/wear and tear under the guidance of the Premises Supervisor, and reporting back to management as required.
- To undertake agreed cleaning/janitorial tasks not included in the school cleaning specification, including emergency cleaning as required.
- To carry out repairs and maintenance which are not beyond the scope of a competent DIY person.
- To lock/unlock school premises at agreed times
- To clear up paved areas and playgrounds (i.e., by disinfecting drains, picking up litter, emptying litter bins and clearing grids).
- To be responsible for premises security and its contents in the absence of any other designated responsible person.
- Moving furniture and equipment around the school premises as required.
- The Site Operative is expected to follow school policy regarding care/control and supervision of children.
- Undertake minibus driving as directed by line manager.

**Requirements**:

- Must be able to pass a DBS criminal record check
- Must pass a reference check
- Must be competent as basic DIY tasks
- Must hold a valid Driving Licence

**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 10 per week

**Salary**: From £11.00 per hour
