Administration Assistant

We are currently looking for an Administration Assistant to join our team on a full time, permanent basis based in Brentwood.
We have supplied quality building contracting services throughout the UK for over 40 years. Our construction services comprise the delivery of refurbishment, fit out and new builds, working in various industrial, commercial, education and restoration sectors for our Blue Chip nationwide client base.
Daily Duties
- Obtaining quotations from Sub Contractors
- Checking Sub-Contractors Insurance and Vetting requirements
- Liaising with our H&S Company to create Construction Phase Plans
- Liaising with our H&S Company with our SafeContractor and Constructionline accreditation
- Book Training Courses for Site Operatives and submit to CITB
- Update H&S Portal for all sites with relevant information
- Create O&M Manuals on completion of our sites
- Undertake weekly Site Report and Project Directories for live sites
- General administration duties including filing, post, scanning, etc
- Assisting the team with Ad-Hoc duties, including covering the buyer and tenders
Key Skills Required
- Previous experience in the construction industry is preferable
- Previous administration experience is essential
- Must be confident on the phone
- General knowledge of Outlook, Excel and Word
- Strong organisation skills, punctual, self-driven and proactive
- Comfortable working in a fast paced environment with tight deadlines
