Business Analyst

Illuminet is currently looking for a Business Analyst for a permanent position based in Warrington, This role is ideally looking for someone who comes from an experienced background, with experience in Agile Transformation and is able to help define andshape an analyst framework and standards.
Main Responsibilities:

- Working with key stakeholders to understand business and technical needs, gather requirements, perform process analysis and design through various methods (workshops, interviews, desktop research etc.)
- Own and drive requirements elicitation, analysis, interpretation and documentation using Agile approaches with a high degree of autonomy
- Orchestrate positive collaboration between Business Stakeholders, Subject matter experts, Architecture, Developers and Testers, actively removing roadblocks and fostering positive working relationships
- Ensure that project / product backlogs are effectively managed, and assist / lead with sprint planning, retrospectives and other agile ceremonies.
- Maintain and develop best practice relating to processes, tools and ways of working to improve and enhance efficiencies, as well as drive creativity and capabilities
- Work closely with Business Analysts, Project Managers, Delivery Managers to provide support and knowledge sharing to meet workload demands
- Documentation of requirements, processes and high-level designs using Agile tools and methods
- Work with key business stakeholders to ensure that the business is ready to adopt new technology solutions and that the capabilities deliver the anticipated benefits.

Essential skills:

- Experience working within a Business Analyst or Product Owner role within a technology or software environment.
- Exposure and understanding of different Agile analysis tools and techniques.
- Knowledge and experience of modelling business processes using a variety of tools and techniques.
- A passion to adopt and adapt to an Agile way of working, to undertaken training and mentoring offered.
- Ability to work independently and proactively.
- Excellent communication skills and experience of stakeholder management and conflict resolution.
- Excellent time management / planning skills.
- Project management support and analysis activity.

Desired skills:

- Experience of working within an agile environment and following agile methodologies, such as Scrum, DSDM.
- Experience of using modern software delivery tools such as Jira, Confluence, Trello, etc.
- Business Analysis certification.
