Overview and Responsibilities:
**Housekeeper/Cleaner
- Meldreth and Orchard Manor**
**Location**:Meldreth, Cambridgeshire/Hertfordshire border - Nr. Royston
**Salary**:£9.65 per hour / £19,570 annual salary
**Hours**:39 Hours per week

This role is working Monday to Friday and we are flexible on start and finish times. We can consider a range of hours that suit you **-** for example you could start at 7am and finish early or even work these hours throughout the night. The main priority is that our school is clean and tidy for our students every day. (options can be discussed and agreed at interview)

The Aurora Group is an innovative provider of education and care for children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities.

Due to our continued expansion; we’re currently looking for a Cleaner / Housekeeping Assistant in **Meldreth, South Cambridge** where our Aurora Meldreth Manor School provides education, care and therapeutic support for children and young people age 6-19 years with severe and profound communication difficulties associated with conditions such as cerebral palsy, autism, brain injury and degenerative disorders.

The school shares the site with its children’s home and a young adult transitional centre, Orchard Manor. We will require you to work across both sites.

Skills and Qualifications:

- Dusting and polishing
- Maintaining clean and sanitary kitchen areas
- Vacuuming and washing floors
- Tidying up rooms
- Monitoring cleaning supplies and ordering more as and when needed
- Reporting any necessary repairs
- Keeping bathrooms stocked and clean
- Emptying bins and disposing of waste

Please note that duties will vary and you must expect to lend a hand wherever is required.
