**Maintenance Assistant**

**Dunboyne Court, 170 St Marychurch Road, Torquay, TQ1 3AB**

**£12.06 per hour**

**37.5 hours Monday to Friday**

Sanctuary Supported Living is delighted to be recruiting for a Maintenance Assistant at Dunboyne Court, Torquay.

**The role of Maintenance Assistant will include**:

- Undertaking site repairs and maintenance duties
- Identifying potential maintenance issues and liaising with any necessary specialists or contractors
- Carrying out planned routine works such as decorating
- Assisting in scheduled building checks and audits, ensuring safe and secure environments
- Occasional gardening duties
- Serving as point of contact for contractors who are on site
- Occasional call out

**Skills and experiences**:

- Previous experience in a maintenance position is essential
- Prior experience identifying and carrying out repairs
- Experience operating hand tools and light machinery
- Good customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work alone and as part of a team
- Working knowledge of UK Health and Safety legislation
