Our client is an active, lively, sociable 10-year-old girl. She loves cuddles, playing, music and her toys. Due to her condition, Cru de Chat syndrome, she requires a tracheostomy. She has a PEG to receive adequate fluid and nutrition. She sometimes needsoxygen overnight to maintain her oxygen levels.

Our client does need continual monitoring overnight and the care team are a key part of ensuring that she is kept safe and feels secure overnight.

Regular waking night shifts. 10pm
- 8am.

As a Care Assistant duties will vary dependent on each client’s individual care plan. These may include personal care, assistance with moving and handling, support with community outings and medication administration.
