CJK Couriers Ltd is looking to expand its team and requires new drivers from our Preston depot. Drivers will be recruited on a self-employed basis. Full training, uniform, van, insurance and fuel card provided.

For this secure and rewarding position, you will need to have been driving for a minimum of 2 years, hold a clean full UK drivers licence, and have no criminal convictions. Multi-drop courier experience would be preferred, but is not essential as full training will be provided by an experienced driver.

The successful applicant will need to be physically fit, hard-working, trustworthy and reliable. You will possess good time keeping skills and be able to work as part of a team as well as independently. You will have good communication and customer service skills. You must also work well under pressure, be good at problem solving and must be able to take instructions and directions from management.

Once the training process has been completed, you will be responsible for a minimum of 80 stops per day to local business and residential areas, building up to 100+ per day. Ongoing training and support will be provided to assist you with the courier process and locations.

You will be required to work Monday to Friday, including occasional weekends and bank holidays. Start times vary from 5.30am onwards.
