1. PURPOSE OF THE JOB

As a Clothing Production Assistant, you will assist and help deliver across our key departments including Embroidery, Printing, Sublimation & Dispatch teams. Working within a leading Personalised Sports Clothing company you will assist in the manufacture and personalisation of sports clothing resulting in the dispatching of high-quality sportswear to our customers.

The role demands a high level of flexibility, time management and attention to detail and would suit an individual looking to develop their skill set across several production areas. It is a challenging and enjoyable role and mentoring and advice will be available.

2. PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES
- To ensure all orders are delivered on time and KPIs are met.
- To carry out maintenance and servicing of the machines
- To operate the embroidery and printing machines to deliver finished clothing orders on time and of the highest possible quality.
- Ensuring quality control of garments is carried out to make sure our clothing looks as good as possible.
- To assist in other areas of the Serious Sport company as appropriate, and designated by your line manager
- Good organisational and time management skills
- The ability to perform active manual tasks with a smile
- Someone who is prepared to work hard and be challenged
- Someone who likes to make a difference and can be a team player with drive and vision

3. NATURE AND SCOPE OF JOB

(a) Job context

You will be entitled to 20 days holiday per year plus any bank holidays worked will be accrued annual leave.

(b) Working Relationships

(i) Primary Working Relationships
- Serious Sport embroidery, printing and logistics team
- Serious Sport Admin Staff
- Serious Sport Sales Team
- Reporting directly to the Production Manager

(ii) Secondary Working Relationships
- General public
- Serious Cricket / Sport suppliers

4. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

The position requires:

5.RENUMERATION

There is a full-time salary which will be £21,500.

Optional overtime will also be available at certain times of the year, where an hourly fee of £12 per hour will be paid. It is currently estimated that 500 hours of overtime is available annually.
