Chargehand

**Job Purpose**
- We require a Chargehand to play an active role in ensuring efficiency of area by optimising product quality, hygiene, legality, food safety and quality whilst adhering to relevant health and safety requirements.

**Key Accountabilities**
- Completion of line/ area documentation to required standards - start up checks, quality and weight checks, label checks, production and downtime recording, attendance.
- Ensure standards for product quality, safety, quantity and cost are delivered through meeting hourly and weekly Departmental KPI targets.
- Bring to attention of department supervisor any item or individual likely to effect product quality, product safety, quantity, hygiene, cost and health and safety.

**Skills and Experience Required**
- Effective communicator at all levels.
- Have metal detection training
- Awareness of diversity of workforce and techniques to manage this diversity.
- Objective, rational and calm.
- Enthusiastic, organised and motivated.
- Understanding of KPI’s and the inputs which must be monitored to ensure delivery
