**WAREHOUSE OPERATIVE VACANCY**

We have supplied over 50,000 hearing aids to customers across the UK, Europe and America and our plans for investment and growth are supported by a private equity investor.

We are now at the start of an exciting phase of growth and are looking for a warehouse operative.

**The Role**:Responsibility for all Warehouse Operations, including the timely shipment of customer orders across UK, Europe and America. Supervision of daily Operations, including the pick & pack team, supplier purchasing, stock control and the management of the company stock system (BrightPearl).

**Main areas of responsibility**:

- Responsibility for all goods entering and leaving the Warehouse
- Checking off and booking in stock deliveries onto the (BrightPearl) stock system
- Updating the status of customer and supplier orders on the stock system
- Management of the demand planner system
- Creation and placing of supplier purchase orders
- Monitoring supplier lead times and alerting Operations / General Manager of delays
- Picking, packing and dispatching of customer orders
- To ensure all relevant documentation is forwarded to the Company Accounts department
- Completing the end of day manifests for delivery partners
- Liaising with the Head of Finance & Operations on stockholding valuation
- Responsibility for supplier returns
- Monitoring and ordering of packaging and supplies required for Warehouse operations
- H&S of the Warehouse

**Job Type**:
Full-time, Temp to Perm

**Salary**:
23k-26k per year

**Experience**:

- GSCEs or equivalent preferred
- Computer literate

**Key Performance Indicators**:

- Ensure all ‘stocked’ products are available for sale, highlighting issues
- Report any delays / issues with suppliers and products
- Manage and monitor the Pick & Pack team, keeping picking errors below 10 per month
- Ensure that all available customer orders are dispatched daily
- Correct any stock system errors immediately, informing the Head of Finance of any corrections
- Ensure the Warehouse operates in a clean, safe and tidy manner at all times
- Monitor purchase orders to ensure deliveries are within agreed lead times
- Keeping stock valuation within parameters set by the Head of Finance

**Job Types**: Full-time, Temp to perm

**Salary**: £23,000.00-£26,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability

- Stockbridge, SO20 8DR: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
