The Ministry of Defence (MOD) is a central government department with a mission to protect our country and provide the ultimate guarantee of its security and independence, as well as helping to protect its values and interests abroad.

**As a Project Lead, your main responsibilities will be**:

- Communications lead for Soft FM Digitisation Project
- Project Risk/Issue Manager
- Support to Project Manager and Programme Director
- Maintenance of Soft FM Delivery plan
- Leadership of tasks as directed by the SFM Programme Director and Project Manager
- Developing; maintaining and documenting appropriate plans and controls for the project; reviewing project and supplier documentation and plans to highlight any issues that may compromise delivery.
- Support the Project Manager in facilitating resolution of project issues and mitigating project risks.

**Essential skills**
- Experience in Project Management
- Experience in Delivery short term fast passed projects
- Evidence of delivery of projects even at a junior level
- Identify risk in relation to the programme
- Active SC Clearance is essential for this role
- Public Sector background

**Desirable skills**
- Defence/MoD - DIO background
