**Senior Manufacturing Engineer**

As a Senior Manufacturing Engineer, you will support the launch of new products and processes, acting as an new product development (NPD) project team representative for the production department.

You will proactively lead, develop and support all activities associated with manufacturing engineering to ensure that efficient production is sustained at all times.

The duties include but are not limited to those shown below:
Main Duties:

- Comply with and fulfill manufacturing engineering requirements throughout the NPD process
- Develop existing and new manufacturing equipment, processes and methods in line with new product development and the continuous improvement of production operations
- Own and lead the development of composite manufacturing with a view to making significant process cycle time reductions in line with production capacity requirements
- Provide time studies for all products under development using MTM
- Assist process engineering as required with process writing tasks, using interlocked and error proofing process control systems for assembly operations (using DC tooling & Pivotware)
- Support design engineering with general DFM guidance throughout the product design process, approving technical drawings accordingly
- Lead process optimization activity with a view to achieving a right first time and error proofed approach to production
- Contribute to production KPI’s data capture
- Own and jointly lead objectives related to manufacturing engineering - Generate, lead and update layouts of the plant production facility
- Jig and tool design
- Control and organize equipment servicing & support with sub-contractors
- Generate & sustain TPM schedules and lead equipment maintenance activities taking a hands-on approach
