**Job Scope**:
As an ActiveQuote Renewals Coordinator, you will form part of the Renewals and Retentions Team function and will be the contact point with an existing ActiveQuote customer at renewal or if customers’ policies have lapsed midterm.

The role will be to speak to the customer and understand their individual needs. If it is a case of renewing the policy, you will take ownership to ensure they have renewed their policy correctly; or if it is more complex, then referring the customer to one of the experienced Renewals Consultants.

The key scope of the role is to make calls to customers whose insurance policy is due for renewal (they will already have a relationship with ActiveQuote) or speak to customers who have been flagged as cancelling their policy midterm in order to see how we can help them remain on cover.

**Responsibilities and Duties**
- Act as the first point of contact for existing ActiveQuote customers to support them with their renewal or link them through to an experienced advisor to ensure we keep the customer on risk
- Provide the highest levels of customer service and advice to retain customers who are looking to cancel policies mid-term or at renewal stage
- Talk positively about the ActiveQuote brand with customers, raising awareness of full product offering and take advantage of cross-sell or rebroke opportunities
- Achieve and maintain targets for productivity, quality and compliance
- Keep abreast of changes to industry regulations and underwriting criteria of our insurance partners
- Having a high regard for compliance within an FCA regulated business and adhering to all legislation and regulatory guidelines
- Contribute to, and follow at all times, ActiveQuote’s policy on Treating Customers Fairly
- To constantly display and encourage ActiveQuote company values of INTEGRITY, UNITY, INNOVATION and PASSION

**Skills & Education**
**Essential**
- Excellent communication skills both verbally and written towards all our customers and insurers
- Strong commitment to delivering exceptional customer experience
- Proactive and driven individual with a desire to develop and progress within a sales-based role
- Proven track record in hitting sales targets and achieving goals
- Highly resilient, reliable and honest
- Being self-motivated and contributing to a positive, working environment with a good team spirit and strong work ethic

**Desirable**
- 6 months customer service experience
- Experience of working within an outbound call centre role, and/or within financial services or regulated environment
- CII or IFS qualifications (or be prepared to work towards it)
