Summary of role:The Project Manager’s role is to coordinate plan, design, execute, monitor, control and complete a selection of projects with a key focus on delivering projects on time and within budget and scope. You will be working closely with the ClientProject Lead and possibly the Client service provider, or third-party contractors, as they implement, configure and develop solutions and with the departmentalkey stakeholders to understand their needs.

Responsibilities:Coordinate Service Provider resources and/or third parties for the flawless execution of projects; Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget; Developproject scopes and objectives, involving all relevantstakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility; Ensure resource availability and allocation; Develop a detailed project plan to track progress; Use appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule, and costs; Measure projectperformance using appropriate systems, tools, and techniques; Report and escalate to management as needed; Manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders; Perform risk management to minimize project risks; Establish and maintain relationshipswith third parties; Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.

Practical & Technical Knowledge: We are looking for a team player who will be responsible for managing the delivery of projects for the Client. You will join a proactive, supportive and personable team of Facilities and Projects managers. As a Project Manageryou will beexpected to contribute towards a culture of business excellence with a focus on quality,scope, timelines adding value to the business and exceeding client expectations. Ensuringthat Safety is at the forefront of each project, using the systems andtools within the ClientInformation library, training will be provided on these systems and tools.Good organisational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skillsmotivated, ambitious and self-starter.5 years plus experience and experience ofrunning projects ranging from £50,000 to £2,500,000.Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including MS SharePoint, MS Project.

Qualifications & experience:
Demonstrable experience of management of technical projects

Safety Management including completion of risk assessments essential

Technical administration experience

MS Office experience including excel, word and access

BSc. or relevant experience
PRINCE / Agile PMknowledgewould be an advantage
