Property Book Keeper/Accountant Required for Lettings/Management Company.

About the role:
There are two companies you will be working for both owned by the same person.

Lettings company:
The property management department is continuously growing and currently manages a portfolio of 1,000 properties. Due to this growth, they are now looking for an experienced client accountant to join the team to help them deliver outstanding customer service.

**Responsibilities**:

- Managing over the entire rent charges, receiving rent and paying landlords.
- Preparing and reporting on end of year accounts and audits for landlords.
- Dealing with landlords, tenants and supplied queries.
- Supply and ledger reconciliation.
- Bank reconciliation.
- Credit control on tenants arrears.
- Processing deposit returns.
- Posting suppliers invoices.

Property Management company:
We currently have a new property management company and you will need to deal with the following;
- Deal with all payments of suppliers.
- Reconciling the property management account.
- Dealing with final end of year accounts.
- Liaising with the property management department for any end of year accounts.

You must have a good knowledge on either CFP or Alto. We currently use CFP but will be progressing to Alto.

You will also be dealing with the actual business accounts. This will include Sage and as follows;
1) Paying all suppliers.

2) Dealing with the profit and loss and reporting to the owner on a monthly basis.

3) Dealing with the VAT returns.

4) Dealing with all payments.

5) Dealing with any budgets for the year.

6) Organising any reductions where you feel that could be made within the business on a regular basis.

Brokerage:
The owner also owns an insurance brokerage across the United Kingdom and you would be required to deal with the following;
1) Deal with all introducer payments.

2) Deal with all payments on refunds.

3) Pay all suppliers within the insurance company.

4) Deal with the monthly returns.

5) Deal with all FCA requirements direct with our compliance company.

6) Deal with all budgets for the year.

7) Review all budgets and suggest any savings.

**Requirements**:

- 3 Years of client accounts experience of a property management department.
- Experience in client accounting software preferably CFP.
- Ability to work fast and clear deadlines.
- Desire to take ownership of their tasks.
- Good written communication skills.
- Good computer skills.

Salary :£30,000 per annum reviewed yearly.

Hours: Monday to Friday 8:30am - 6pm.

Holiday: 20 Days holiday plus bank holidays.

There may be a bonus scheme that could be introduced to include monthly/annual savings which you would get a percentage.

Pay: From £30,000.00 per year
