Working closely with the Operations Director managing the abattoir's daily operations, including slaughtering, processing, packaging, and distribution. You will lead key initiatives to improve operational efficiency, facilitate business growth, and ensure compliance with safety regulations.

**Key Responsibilities**:
- Operational Support: Assist in overseeing all aspects of abattoir operations, ensuring smooth production.
- Project Management: Lead operational improvement projects, including equipment upgrades and facility expansions.
- Compliance and Safety: Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations, including HACCP plans.
- Team Leadership: Train and supervise staff, promoting a culture of continuous improvement and safety.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to enhance processes and increase productivity.
- Inventory Management: Monitor and manage inventory levels in collaboration with procurement teams.
- Quality Control: Ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards for product quality.
- Customer Satisfaction: Work with sales and customer service teams to ensure customer requirements are met.
Who We Are Looking For:
We are looking for graduates with a degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Food Technology, Animal Science or a related field. or related fields such as Livestock or Food Studies, who are keen to develop a career in sales within the meat industry.
An effective communicator with strong interpersonal skills
Have attention to detail and a strong commitment to maintaining operational, safety and quality standards.
Interested in the agricultural and foods sectors
Have the ability to inspire and work effectively with a diverse team.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £32,500.00 per year
