The Product team is a diverse group of creative people responsible for the design and execution of products and packaging at Purdy & Figg.

**Job Summary**

**Responsibilities**
- Identify potential suppliers and conduct negotiations to secure cost-effective deals
- Evaluate existing suppliers based on quality, cost, and reliability to ensure they meet the company’s needs and standards
- Coordinate with the product and R&D teams to understand the material and component requirements for new and existing products
- Work closely with the Quality Assurance team to ensure that all sourced materials meet defined quality criteria
- Purchase, test and feedback options across chemicals and packaging
- Oversee the procurement process, from placing orders to managing inventory levels
- Monitor market trends, materials availability, and pricing, and adapt sourcing strategies accordingly
- Assess risks within the supply chain and implement mitigation strategies

**Qualifications**

Applications from recent graduates are welcome
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations or a related field
- Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite and experience with inventory management software.
- Familiarity with environmentally-friendly materials and sustainability standards is a plus.
- Self-starter who can work independently and collaboratively within a fast-paced environment.

**1. Rapid Feedback**

We expect the team to regularly be given and give rapid fire feedback on performance and what anyone did well or not well. This is designed to create a rolling culture of feedback and honesty, in a flat hierarchy, and means you can learn whilst experiences are fresh and relevant.

**2. 360 Feedback**

Every quarter we will hold 360 feedback sessions, in which team members who work together feedback on each other in a no hold bars development session. Employees tell their managers how they can improve their management style and ways of working and managers tell employees how they can develop their level of work and output. It will be your responsibility to organise these 360 Feedback sessions.

Aside from this, we will also have informal meetings with you ad hoc about your development which will focus on how you want to develop your skills and role.
