The main duties of the Wedding & Event Coordinator include
- Working closely with the owners of the business to share the day to day administrative workload of the business, whilst ensuring a high level of customer service at all times.

Event day duties to include:

- Leading and assisting delivery of weddings and events on a rota basis including assisting with set up and turnaround of civil ceremonies, wedding breakfasts and evening celebrations. This includes liaising with suppliers, housekeeping, bar and kitchen.

Back of house duties to include:

- Scheduling and carrying out show rounds/viewings to potential bookers, whilst promoting and upselling the venue services. Preparing and issuing quotations, booking forms, contracts etc.
- Engaging with existing customers, answering questions, hosting planning meetings in person and also via zoom calls to gather event information.
- Preparing all final event documentation including invoices and function sheets.
- Increasing weddings and functions revenue by actively seeking new opportunities.
- Create and publish social media posts
- Create and manage staff rotas for upcoming events.
- Effectively liaise with all departments to ensure set up and execution of events are as per stated on function sheets.
- Assist in recruitment and training of new waiting staff to ensure seamless service.
- Assist with back-office duties and other secretarial duties as required.

The ideal Wedding & Event Coordinator will
- Have previous experience working within a similar environment
- Be confident working with rates and negotiating
- Be motivated with a desire and drive to successfully increase revenue
- Be able to build and maintain effective relationships
- Have experience in the use of MS Excel and MS word
- Be experienced in the use of social media to promote the venue
- Have excellent attention to detail and consistently check their work for accuracy.
- Absorb training and instruction on an ongoing basis and become familiar with processes so as to become a confident and self sufficient worker

The Wedding & Event Coordinator position has a working average of 40 hours per week, payable in 12 equal monthly payments (less deductions)

5.6 weeks (28 days) holiday with max of 2 consecutive weeks.

Includes auto enrolment for pension.

**Salary**: £26,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
