We are looking for compassionate and committed Healthcare Assistants in Sheffield, who are passionate about delivering the highest quality care for our service user, building positive relationships with them and their family while enabling them to live as independently as possible in their own home.

**Meet our service user**

Our service user is a young girl who lives at home in Sheffield with her loving family and requires support during the day with her complex care needs on a 1:1 and 2:1 basis.

She is a delightful little girl who enjoys listening to and watching nursery rhyme videos. She loves to be around familiar people and thoroughly enjoys interacting with her care team, friends, and family.

Her favourite activities include exploring her sensory toys especially her light up and musical toys, listening to music and watching her favourite cartoons.

Throughout the day your role will be to support with her morning routine at home before accompanying to her educational setting.

At her educational setting you will closely observe and tend to her clinical care needs when required, support with personal care, moving and handling requirements, ensure her comfort, safety and support her engagement with her learning.

It is important to understand her methods of communication and identify her wants and needs, she is non-verbal and communicates using body language and facial expressions. Patience and understanding area key qualities for this role.

**Our service user has specifically requested for female staff to work on their team.**

**Essential experience required**
- 3 months previous care experience
- Personal Care
- Moving and Handling
- Medication Administration

**Desired experience**
- Previous care experience supporting a child within a complex care setting
- Gastrostomy Feeds (PEG)
- Tracheostomy Care
- Nebulisers
- Oral Suctioning
- Seizure management

**Shifts Available**
- Part Time Days
- 3 shifts per week
- Tuesday 8:00am - 1:30pm
- Wednesday 9:00am - 3:00pm
- Thursday 8:00am - 1:30pm

Weekdays: £12.00 per hour (Approx. £72.00 per 6-hour shift)

Bank Holidays: £15.50 per hour (Approx. £93.00 per 6-hour shift)
