Exciting opportunity to join a growth area within Monkhouse schoolwear. Essentials and Accessory Category Management is a new division within Monkhouse and is focused on growing sales and becoming the destination for back to school shopping. The role will be based in Altrincham Headquarters with flexibility of some home working. The role will report to the Head of Category and be responsible for:

- Setting up, managing and enriching category product data within our PIM solution.
- Managing all category data including categorisation and reporting.
- Stock forecasting and stock management, communicating both internally and externally.
- Controlling and managing budgeting and sales reporting data.
- Product performance analysis.
- Working closely with Ecommerce team to support visual merchandising and trading.
- Working closely with and supporting Head of Category.
To be successful with Monkhouse you will be positive, courageous and collaborative. You’ll focus on making the right calls for customers, colleagues and partners alike. You will be:

- Analytical - able to interpret data and draw accurate conclusions to guide decision making, taking into consideration industry and consumer trends.
- Have confidence in forecasting for product demand to ensure the sustainability of inventory.
- Assume responsibility of budget development and revenue for category, including weekly, monthly sales reports and analysis of this data.
- A great communicator - able to share information and ideas in an easy-to-understand way to a range of stakeholders (internal and external)
You will be able to clearly demonstrate significant experience in the following areas:

- Solid interpersonal and stakeholder management skills
- Strong problem solving. You’ll be adept at multi-tasking and responding with good judgement and positivity to challenges presented and/or conflicting ideas and priorities
- Exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail are essential
