**Chartered Building Surveyor - Client Side - Portfolio Building Surveyor**

**About the company**:
My client is a privately-owned investment and development company, with an overall portfolio of over twenty-five properties located predominately around London. They are currently seeking an experienced Chartered Building Surveyor to join their London Teamto act as Portfolio Building Surveyor. Although this is a small business, they have a large portfolio and presence in London. This role would suit someone looking for a new challenge where they can develop further.

**The Role**

**Duties**:

- Project management / contract administration on small to medium sized projects up to £3m including:

- Vertical extensions and conversions.
- Category A & B refurbishments; and,
- PPM Works and Asset Enhancement Works.
- Principle Designer / CDM Duties
- Managing external consultant, where required, on project work.
- Pre-Acquisition (Due Diligence) Services for acquisitions.
- Reinstatement Cost Assessments and yearly reviews.
- Licence for Alterations.
- Defect diagnosis and reactive maintenance.
- Assisting Property Managers with Planned Preventative Maintenance Strategy.
- Providing Dilapidations Advice.
- Collaborating with agents and solicitors to facilitate a asset transactions.
- Managing insurance claims.

**Requirements**:

- Minimum of five years commercial surveying experience
- Ability to confidently execute the role independently
- Ability to cover all aspects of Building Surveying
- Ability to be innovative and entrepreneurial
