**Procurement Planner / Buyer**
**Location**: Stirling, FK7 7QQ.

**Contract**: Full time, permanent.
Superglass currently have an opportunity for a Procurement Planner / Buyer to join our Stirling site.
The Procurement Buyer/Planner has the primary responsibility of ensuring material availability to support the sales forecast. Importing sea freight containers and arranging customs clearance. Other responsibilities include managing inventory levels, supportingmaterial/product level revisions, interacting/coordinating with suppliers on a variety of topics, and supporting other business functions as required.
**Key Duties / Responsibilities**
- Place purchase orders with suppliers for the procurement of goods in line with min max levels and firm sales orders
- Monitor status of open purchase orders to ensure on-time delivery of all materials, including timely resolution, communication and mitigation of future potential problems
- Expedite or defer orders as required based on schedule/inventory changes
- Review min max levels and make recommendations for changes to Supply Chain Manager on a monthly basis
- Manage offsite warehouse/distribution and be main point of contact to support TN Roofing
- Reconcile offsite warehouses with 1C on a monthly basis
- Create and issue inventory reports as agreed with Supply Chain Manager
- Coordinate material flows throughout product/BOM changes, obsolescence, and the introduction of new suppliers and/or materials due to new product development
- Manage the inter-company flow or materials between warehouse locations
- Manage and resolve issues regarding PO to invoice discrepancies, returns and quality problems with suppliers
- Arrange shipments and transport of goods to fulfil customer demands
- Track International shipments
- Arrange customs clearance for international imports using 3rd party suppliers
- Collaborate with internal customers and provide a high level of customer service, including recommending solutions, resources, and alternative supply options
- Ensure and promote compliance to Company and Procurement policies and procedures
- Support Supply Chain Team as and when required
