We are seeking a part-time Building Assistant to work 30 hours per week.

The Buildings Assistant will assist the Buildings Manager in the day to day maintenance of the Students’ Union with specific responsibilities for the upkeep of the Students’ Union area, equipment and general maintenance including vehicle and building maintenance. This role will interact and support with all areas of the organisation completing logístical, operational and event support.

We are looking for someone with experience in any of the following fields:

- **Building Maintenance including Painting and Decorating**:

- **Supporting with events/activities**:

- **Completion of health & safety checks**:

- **Logistics**

**Rate of Pay**:£20,052

*This salary is pro rata based on working 30 hours per week, this is based on a full time (37 hour per week) salary of £24,730

**Grade**: 3.1

**Holiday Entitlement**: 27 days annual leave as well as Bank Holidays and Closure Days (pro rata).

**Hours per Week**:
Flexible working pattern, ideally available Monday-Friday (08:00-17:00), patterns can be discussed

Working 30 hours per week

**Duration of Role**:Permanent

**Location**:The post holder will be required to work at, or from any of the Union’s establishments (Frenchay, Bower and Glenside)
