**Overview**
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our vibrant team in one of our Indian Restaurants. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional guest experiences in our restaurant. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that our patrons receive prompt and friendly service while enjoying their meals. **Duties**
- Greet and welcome guests as they arrive, ensuring a warm and inviting atmosphere.
- Take food and drink orders accurately and efficiently, using your knowledge of the menu to assist guests in their choices.
- Serve food and beverages promptly, ensuring that all items are presented beautifully and meet food safety standards.
- Upsell menu items to enhance the dining experience and increase sales.
- Assist with food preparation when necessary, maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organisation in the kitchen area.
- Basic experience in handling the bar is an added advantage
- Handle guest inquiries and complaints with professionalism, striving to provide excellent guest services at all times.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and maintain smooth operations during busy periods.
- Maintain knowledge of current menu offerings, specials, and promotions to effectively communicate with guests.

**Skills**
- Previous experience in an Indian restaurant is preferred
- General experience in a culinary environment is a must
- Strong understanding of food safety practices and procedures.
- Basic maths skills for handling transactions accurately.
- Excellent communication skills with a friendly disposition towards guests and team members alike. This would be the most important skill requirement
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
- A genuine passion for hospitality and providing outstanding guest experiences is the foremost requirement in a prospective employee
- Experience in upselling techniques is advantageous.

Pay: £11.44-£13.50 per hour
