More about the role:
They are looking for an innovative individual to co-ordination and manage of a team of Care Workers, to ensure the delivery of high-quality personalised care to clients living in sheltered accommodation and able to build their Home Care Framework in the widercommunity, in accordance with individual care plans and philosophy of care.
Having the autonomy to build and manage your team, you will truly be able to make your mark on their Care Services.

In this role, you will;
Promote, drive and grow brand new care packages in sheltered accommodation and/or the wider community.
Ensure that contracted hours of care are delivered to standard and that all documents, records and systems (e.g. Business Manager) are updated in accordance with relevant procedures.
To support the Registered Manager in preparing and responding to inspections and audits by external authorities and other bodies and fulfilling reporting requirements.
Devise and review personalised Care Plans and Risk Assessments for new and existing clients in line with personal budget and individual plans. Ensure clients are fully aware of the care provision, their financial obligations and other procedures.
Liaise with families, friends and other people involved in the care of the client to ensure that good communication and co-operation is maintained.
Recruit new staff where necessary and support and supervise them in their induction and probationary period in accordance with Group procedures.
Manage and support a team of Care Workers in order to ensure that care is delivered in accordance with individual Care Plans and Group Policies and Procedures, specifically in the areas of:
Absence management, Performance management, Support and supervision/Appraisal, Training and development
Ensure that departmental key performance indicators are monitored and targets met in service delivery and staff management, e.g. agency expenditure, attendance, training, completed reviews and risk assessments, probations and 1:1’s.
Participate in on-call procedures as agreed.

More about you:
Educated to GCSE level or equivalent in Math & English
Hold a full UK driving licence with Class 1 business insurance and access to a car or transport
RQF/QCF Level 3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent, or a willingness to study towards.
Recent experience in managing a care service
Recent experience in providing care and/or support to others
Experience of business growth in the private care sector
Understanding of the needs of older people to maintain their independence
An understanding of CQC standards and requirements.
An understanding of health and safety requirements, particularly manual handling, medication, safeguarding vulnerable adults and personal safety.
