Edmundson Electrical Ltd, the country's leading electrical wholesaler with over 250 branches throughout the UK, currently has a vacancy for a full time storesperson/delivery driver, with an immediate start available, at our branch in, Barnstaple.

To be considered for this position, the applicant must have a clean full UK driving licence and have at least one year's previous experience of driving a long wheel base commercial vehicle such as a Mercedes Benz Sprinter or similar.

A good local knowledge of the area is important.

The successful applicant will be responsible for picking and collating orders, accepting and booking in deliveries, re-stocking shelves, carrying out daily vehicle checks, checking deliveries on and off the vehicle, ensuring that the vehicle is loaded correctly and safely in accordance with health and safety procedures, filling in necessary paperwork and delivering to customers whilst maintaining the high standards of customer service that are expected of every employee.

The successful applicant will be in a customer facing role so a good personality with a polite, good natured attitude is also very important.

The excellent benefits package includes a competitive basic salary depending on experience, company pension, life assurance and a unique performance related bonus scheme.

Basic 42.5 hour week plus 1 x 3.5 hour Saturday morning every 2/3 weeks.
