Transport Co-Ordinator looking for a new challenge? Pertemps are currently recruiting on behalf of our fast growing E-Commerce client within the Birmingham area. As a Transport Co-Ordinator you will be reporting to the management team and team leader group and will be responsible for the day to day running of the transport and administration functions and working closely with the related external business departmentsincluding HR, Client Services, Distribution centre suppliers and clients support teams. Specific responsibilities of the Transport Co-Ordinator include: " Collating data for customer invoice generation and general site reporting including the monthly management reporting and weekly site SLA's. " Recording and monitoring of attendance, overtime, holidays and absence as well as producing agency time sheets. " Detailed knowledge of each Carrier used and to maintain strong relationships. " Ensure timely invoice validation for all distribution centre related invoices and credits. " Ensure all B2B haulier requests are booked in a timely manner and at the levels (security / financial) set out by our insurance broker are considered and correct haulage partner is sourced accordingly. " Coordinate all purchases for the distribution centre including packaging, stationary, safety clothing and general equipment for the day to day running of the distribution centre. To be successful for this Transport Co-Ordinator role you will comply with the following points: " PC literate, high level of Excel competency. " Excellent attention to detail is essential. " Excellent verbal and written communication skills. " Must have the ability to work unsupervised and on own initiative. " Must be able to plan workload effectively to meet deadlines. " Highly organised coupled with the ability to prioritise effectively. " Confident dealing with numerical data. " Ability to manage small teams. " Professional attitude with the ability to multitask. The working hours for this position are 09:30 - 18:00 with a 40hr paid working week. Must have flexibility to work 1 in 4 Saturdays. Hourly rate of £10.30 per hour. PLEASE CLICK APPLY
