We have an exciting opportunity for a Buyer to join our team
This role sits within a category which is at the core of our business, & immensely important to our customers. As the buyer you will be tasked with a diverse and challenging product portfolio across Savoury & Canned. This role represents a fantastic opportunity to gain exposure to commercial teams and to engage colleagues across the business to land an integrated, best in class customer offer.
**Your Role**
As a Buyer within Savoury & Canned, you will work collaboratively with key suppliers and with internal stakeholders alike in order to deliver sales, pricing and growth ahead of the market while helping to manage the category P&L.
You will negotiate and deliver business plans as well as understand customers and implement strategies that meets their needs.
You will also need to understand, track & negotiate around key commodities and deliver cost to serve programmes with suppliers to ensure great value for our customers.
**About you**
- Strong commercial awareness and being highly numerate.
- Ability to consistently challenge yourself, & the category to drive market growth.
- A strong understanding of customer requirements, market trends and competitors.
