**Essential Requirements**
- This internship is run with the University of Southampton, so applicants need to be students at Southampton studying Maths; Physics; Physical/Engineering Sciences; Data Science; Computer Science; Mechanical / Aeronautical Engineering;
- Analytical scripting skills - Python preferred.
- A keen interest in Data Science and analytics and working in commercial Aviation.
- Capable of working within a team or independently.
- Able to deliver required tasks to timelines.
- Good communicator: Comfortable communicating complex technical information to a range of stakeholders - peers, experts and non-experts, customers. Powerpoint User.

**Desirable Requirements**
- SQL and Version Control (e.g. Github) experience also useful.
- Some experience of Machine Learning and advanced statistics.
