Job Introduction
**Cleaning Operative** at **Leeds Waterloo House, 58 Wellington Street, Leeds, LS1 2EE**
- Approved Premises (APs) contribute to the effective risk management of people released from prison by providing an enhanced level of supervision, monitoring and rehabilitation within the community. The post will provide you experience of working with complex and vulnerable people and an understanding of residential setting within the Criminal Justice System. **What you’ll do**:

- Focus on the details and complete a list of scheduled cleaning tasks
- Periodic deep cleaning of certain areas, instructed by supervisor
- Ensure all areas, including kitchens, toilets, communal areas are cleaned and are presentable
- Replenishing stock and consumables such as toilet tissue and hand soaps
- You'll work closely with the security team, reporting any faults or hazards.. whilst also helping maintain the cleanliness of their areas too
- This role requires you to have an approachable attitude

**What you bring**:

- Previous experience in a similar role, with knowledge of cleaning solutions and their uses is desirable, but not essential
- our great training will ensure you are fully trained in all areas of health and safety
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Can work at a fast pace and adapt to change when needed
- Be a team player and take instruction
