This is a story that starts in 2001 and nearly 20 years ago in 2004, the work outside of the corporate world started for Emma, our founder, when she set up a dog walking business. What Emma experienced between 2001 and 2004 paved the way for Dogs4Rescue and it started with a beautiful olive eyed staffy called Lucky and closely followed by our gorgeous Sandy. Lucky remains firmly in Emma’s heart and was the driving force behind her making change back in 2004 and Sandy, she was with us every step of the way in developing a doggy day care to establishing Dogs4Rescue 10 years later. Just 2 weeks after we’d realized the dream and we’d began rescuing dogs from all over the world, Sandy passed away. Sandy got to live the best life, unlike Lucky, and these two inspired Emma to do what she does and the dream lives on.

**Job Description**:
Dogs4Rescue is totally different to all other dog rescues in the UK. Why? We’re kennel free and dogs can run around like they would in day care where dogs can play and have a life, not knowing they were homeless but feeling loved, surrounded by a big family and sleep on sofas, not stuck in a small kennel sleeping on their own on a concrete floor in strange surroundings. At Dogs4Rescue you will see our dogs unstressed, unfearful, playing, interacting and living like normal dogs.

We’re based in Eccles and looking for someone to join our team as a Dog Handler. You MUST already have experience with dogs, perhaps you’re working for another rescue and looking to make real change. You may work in doggy day care and looking for a new type of challenge in working with dogs.

As one of our dog handlers you will be the pack leader You’ll be walking, feeding, cleaning as well as running vet trips and spending time with our dogs You’ll be part of a wider dog handling team and we’re looking for the following traits which will make you a success here.
