**As part of our continued growth, we are looking for a Flooring Installation Customer Service Expert to join our head office team based in Bishop Auckland.**

**About the role**

**About you**

You will bring onboard with you, your already existing communication skills and confident telephone manner. As this is customer service you will also develop good relationships with customers and be empathetic of their situations.

You will have an understanding of the flooring installation process, including issues that could be faced during and after for carpets, vinyl, tiles, hardwood, artificial grass and decking. You’ll be responsible for using your knowledge to find the root cause of flooring/ installation issues and “out of the box” resolutions for customers that have faced these. The role includes helping customers & colleagues on the install process, answering questions on key environmental factors and general maintenance advice.

**You will also**:

- Have an understanding of flooring & the installation process
- Have strong organisational skills
- Rapport building and objection handling skills are essential
- Be strong minded and professional with an ability to negotiate and influence confidently at all levels
- Direct retention or sales experience is advantageous however we will consider transferable skills from previous roles
- Excellent customer care skills and customer focused attitude
- Self-motivation with a positive approach to targets
- A genuine passion for sales and customer service

We will consider part and full time applicants - full time hours will be 37.5 hours a week on a Monday - Friday basis and part time hours will be 27.5 hours per week.

Work from home one day a week is available upon request after a successful probation period and there is potential for flexible working hours.

Pay: £12.44 per hour

Expected hours: 27.5 - 37.5 per week
