Group Accountant/ Senior Accountant

Our client is a global brand management business who seek to hire a Group Accountant/ Senior Accountant. The role will suit an ACA/ACCA qualified Accountant looking for a progressive and dynamic business that can offer a broad and interesting role. Responsibilitieswill include:
Group Reporting
Input of subsidiary management accounts into group consolidation form, reviewing and highlighting any anomalies to the GFC as they arise
Preparation of data for inclusion in monthly reporting packs / ad hoc reporting
Weekly preparation and review of consolidated cash flow document, supporting the GFC in identifying issues in advance or identifying expected surplus amounts
Management of the month end intercompany reconciliation process - liaising with all subsidiary entities
Supporting the GFC in implementing best group practice, policies and procedures
Business Partnering
Divisional reporting to Head Office cost-centre owners
providing the first levels of business partnering and responding to any queries that they may have
investigation of any significant budgetary variances and flagging these to the GFC as they arise
Compliance
Be the main point of contact for external advisers (domestic and foreign) for tax and VAT, and act as liaison between internal and external parties
Complete and submit tax returns with respect to VAT/Sales tax and corporate income tax for all Group entities including US state tax compliance
Statutory Reporting
Ensuring that all subsidiary statutory audits are completed in accordance with local requirements and company policies.
Be a key contact throughout the audit process, liaising with external auditors
Responsibility for the preparation of subsidiary statutory accounts, working closely with the subsidiary finance teams across the group
Support and assist the GFC in the preparation of the Group Consolidated accounts
Ensuring agreed audit adjustments are reflected in Group Consolidation schedule once finalised
Working with Group FP&A, providing ad-hoc analysis and support with ad-hoc accounting projects.
A salary of £50,000-£55,000 is on offer plus 10% bonus and benefits
