Veterinary Receptionist

Etwall Vets is an independent, up and coming first opinion practice in the village of Etwall in South Derbyshire. We are part of a small independent group consisting of a Veterinary Cardiology Referral Practice and another branch practice in the next village of Willington. We opened in 2020 and have continued to grow since then, continuing to expand our team as our workload increases. We are now looking for an extra pair of hands with the important client facing role on our reception desk.

We are looking for someone to join our existing friendly team of 4 vets (we are also looking for a new vet), 5 nurses (we have a full time nursing position also available), 2 SVN's, 1 animal care assistant and 5 receptionists. Hours would be approximately 10 hours split over 2 mornings in the week and 1 in 6 Saturday mornings. An ability to supply cover for holidays and sickness would also be appreciated.

Full training will be given, however, we would prefer you to have had previous experience working within a veterinary practice environment as a receptionist/ACA/nurse. You should also have a love of dealing with the general public and being the welcoming face of the practice.
