**Head of Agricultural/Rural Finance**

Having been established for well over 100 years, our client is a prestigious brand that helps finance private and commercial property transactions globally, specialising in large mortgages for main or second homes, Investment properties, Buy-to-let mortgages,Specialist Insurances, Commercial Finance, Private Office, Agricultural/Rural Finance, Equity Release, and International Mortgages.

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced individual to take responsibility for the management and growth of the existing Agri/Rural advisory division.

Focusing on Agricultural mortgages, you will have accountability for providing bespoke mortgage advice in areas such as farms and estates, rural, equestrian, small holding mortgages.

The role will also require the person to sit on the Country Management Committee and will be accountable for their responsibilities as a member of the management team.

Responsibilities (Non-exhaustive)
- Building a team to specialise in Rural/Agri Finance
- Establishing and maintaining relationships both within the firm and the wider Agri community
- Setting a marketing plan
- Ensuring an adequate flow of leads
- Recruiting and managing your team and ensuring that the consultants are delivering against their individual business plans.
- Supporting consultants on placing complex cases.
- Attending the monthly Country Managers Committee meeting.

Experience required:

- Experience of providing specialist mortgage advice in areas such as agricultural mortgages, rural mortgages, small holding mortgages.
- A minimum of 3 years’ track record of having dealt with significant cases
- Full CeMAP or equivalent
- Drive and enthusiasm
- Ability to communicate with HNW clients.
