Warehouse Supervisor

This position is a Warehouse Supervisor at North Wales Raw Feeds. You will play a critical role in overseeing and coordinating the day-to-day operations within a warehouse facility.
As Warehouse Supervisor, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining a well-organised and efficient warehouse environment, focusing on optimising processes, managing personnel, and ensuring the accurate and timely movement of goods.
**Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities**
**Supervise and lead a team of warehouse staff, including**:
- Enforce punctual clocking-in and clocking-out, ensuring all staff are present for work in a timely manner
- Organise break times for team members and manage clocking-in and clocking-out on time for every break taken
- Assign tasks to team members throughout the day, based on prioritising shipping orders out as quickly as possibly
- Printing orders, creating shipping labels, and arranging suitable substitutions for customers. Updating stock on the website system
- Inputting batch numbers and freezer temperature logs into relevant spreadsheets on back office
- Delegate daily tasks during quieter times to team members, such as tidying the warehouse, sweeping, breaking down boxes, and keeping the kitchenette area clean and tidy
- Key holder during contracted hours. This includes opening and locking up, setting alarm panel and general checks of building security before leaving. (Key holders' mobile number will be given to the alarm company in case of an out of hours call-out.)
**General warehouse duties, including**:
- Picking and packing customer orders of frozen feeds and dry goods (up to 30kg per box), organising and labelling shipments ready for dispatch
- Safely and efficiently load products onto delivery vehicles, securely stack and arrange items to prevent damage during transit
- Unload incoming deliveries from suppliers and verify against purchase orders, inspect and report any damaged or missing goods to the relevant department
- Make note of any damaged or missing product, complete required documentation and communicate issues to management.
- Conduct regular stock counts and reconcile physical inventory with system records, as well as monitoring stock levels and notifying supervisors when reordering is necessary
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation throughout the warehouse, regularly clean work areas, shelving, and equipment

- Ensure timely and accurate order fulfilment to meet customer expectations
