Legal PA - Edinburgh City Centre

Full Time - Monday to Friday

Pay rate - up to £29,000 DOE

Search Consultancy are currently working with one of Edinburgh's top legal firms to recruit a Legal PA within their Infrastructure division.

Duties involved in this role will include:

- Accurately drafting documentation on behalf of fee earners, ensuring firm document requirements are adhered to
- Work within set deadlines, with the ability to be flexible to changes in requirements
- Use Winscribe for dictation, maintaining reliable service to fee earners
- Fee earner diary and inbox management, coordinating meetings and responding to availability enquiries
- Complete pre-bills and issue invoices to clients when required
- Manage fee earners' clients and contacts, ensuring details are correctly logged and up to date
- Setting up new client files, in line with all compliance requirements
- Use of Condeco system for meeting room bookings with clients and contacts
- Act on behalf of fee earners with staff, external clients or contacts
- Preparing Excel spreadsheets when required
- General administrative duties including filing/scanning/photocopying, complying with company procedures
- Clearly communicate workload with fee earners and/or line managers
- Undertaking any other duties as requested by fee earners or line managers, providing assistance throughout the firm when required
- Utilise all firm systems and procedures, actively seeking training when required

In order to be considered for this role your skills and experience should include:

- Must have recent experience working as a Legal PA/Secretary
- Prior experience using Winscribe dictation software and Condeco booking software is preferred
- Must have the ability to work accurately and efficiently
- Strong Microsoft Office skills - must be confident with Excel
