Digital Training Specialist

**Main Purpose of the Role**
At Princes we are on a journey to digitalise our learning offer. These are exciting times as our IT department looks to transform the business. As a result, we have a need for an L&D professional with a background in digital design to come on board and support the design and delivery of innovative IT training. Working directly with IT Subject Matter Experts, you will embed the standards required for the creation of engaging and results focussed training.
**Main Responsibilities and Duties**
- Build genuine relationships with key stakeholders which support the delivery of the IT Training schedule.
- Socialise and embed the design standards set out by L&D to the IT function.
- Create innovative and engaging training solutions that support the IT departments goals.
- Work with Subject Matter Experts (SME’s) to ensure the effective design of all training, ensuring it is in line with current business requirements.
- Support the SME community to help develop their own skills in creating IT training.
- Using evaluation methods, proactively suggest ways to continuedly improve the current IT range of training and design standards
- Recognise and implement great UX and UI principles to create modern, future thinking training solutions and share these with SME’s and the wider L&D team.

**Knowledge and Experience**
- Strong experience in using a range of e-learning technologies and Learning Management/Experience Platforms (LMS/LXP).
- Experience of the full training cycle.
- The ability to conduct in-depth training needs analysis and present tangible outputs.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence at senior level
- Experience of creating storyboards
- Knowledge of other IT platforms (SharePoint, Power BI)
- Ability to coach others in digital design and use of new software/tools
