**E Commerce Executive - 6 Month Contract**

Position: E Commerce Executive, 6 Month Fixed Term Contract, 40 hours p/w, Mon - Fri 8.30 - 17.00.

**Salary**: From £25k p/a pro rata, dependant on experience

**Reporting To: Ecommerce manager**

Join one of the UK’s leading independent jewellery retailers, which boasts over 135 years’ experience in the jewellery and watches retail industry, alongside 20+ high street stores and an exciting portfolio of ecommerce websites including The Jewel Hut - the popular fashion and accessories site.

We have an interesting opportunity for an experienced E Commerce Executive to enhance and develop their current skills with a mature E commerce business, whilst helping us cover a strong period of growth.

You’ll be reporting to the E Commerce Manager and working within the E Commerce team. Responsible for creation, posting, and maintaining web content, with a particular focus on general housekeeping tasks for 4 busy websites.

**E Commerce Executive job role will involve**:

- Product development to include description editing, optimisation and catalogue research.
- Set up, test and execute all online promotions and support the Ecommerce Team in delivering localised online promotions.
- Work closely with the Ecommerce Team on content.
- Assist with marketing and general ecommerce related tasks.
- Optimise on-site experience and actively participate in new feature site testing and feedback to the development team.
- A highly organised individual with the ability to work flexibly and with agility.
- Analytic and inquisitive mindset with an ability to share most relevant data.
- Exceptional relationship building and communication.

**Essential Requirements**:

- Experienced and confident using Microsoft Excel, including using V-lookups and pivot tables.
- Proficient using Adobe Photoshop and Microsoft Packages
- Self-motivated & highly organised with the ability to adapt to a changing environment and stay calm under pressure.
- Possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Able to take direction and deliver tasks accordingly.
- Have a minimum of two years working with an Ecommerce CMS system.

**Desirable Requirements**:

- Experience Zoho or Magento software.
- Experience in maintaining brand guidelines.
- Experience with jewellery or watches.
