- 30-35 Hour Contract with overtime_
**Little Paws Club Southend is looking for a dynamic member of the team to join our already thriving business & successful business.**
**So here is a little bit about use**:
Newly licensed as the second commercial daycare in Southend we are proud to be the only customer-built puppy school in the area. We evolved from our already successful Puppy School located at our sister site Paws Indoors, we transferred into our own facility in May last year after a mass influx of lock-down puppies needing training. Doors open 7.00am sharp and close at 18.00pm. Our little paw family is made up of mainly sausages, cockapoos & other small dogs. We focus mainly only on small to medium pups and have equipment for little legs.
Our teams at Paws Indoors & Little Paws Club work closely together and are proud of the work we do with Pups & junior dogs.

**Job Role & Responsibilities**:
- Training & maintaining Puppy progress in a digital form
- Filming training sessions & uploading to client groups using our in-house phone
- Working closely with clients also to manage expectations & ensure they work with the pup at home
- Maintain our social media by uploading content regularly, and creating reels & tiki's toks
- In absence of a manager, you will need to be confident to step in and take control
- You will be expected to create regular newsletters using our mailing system
- Monitor the number of puppies to ensure we are within our licensing numbers
- Taking Pups on field days & developing ways to desensitise them
- Support manager with the day-to-day running which can include:
- Booking dogs in & out of our registration system
- Following tasks left for you to complete
- Working with our volunteers & apprentices so strong leadership skills are vital here
- Ensuring all paperwork is completed daily or after certain tasks
- Making sure health & safety is adhered to
- Client Liaison - speaking to clients at the door & give any feedback to clients
- Cleaning is vital to our successful business & as we are caring for pups we are extra virulent. Adhering to cleaning tasks each day is essential
- Driving the vans - if a driver and where is needed to cover
- Key Holding - open & closing the centre AM or PM
- Be reliable and understand how important it is for the dogs to see you regularly
**What we want you to bring to the team**:
- Be passionate about working with dogs
- Commitment to the puppy training & understand we DON'T CUT CORNERS
- Have excellent communication skills, be a confident speaker & be confident in your abilities
- A good knowledge of dogs & understand their behaviour
- Be able to be versatile and muck in where needed
- Be able to follow policies & procedures
- Know the Daycare Regulations & be able to ensure your shift is adhering to guidelines
- Have new innovative our of the box thinking and be confident to present to senior managers
- Want to push the business forward
- Always be looking for additional training for your personal progression
- Work well with a team of females
- Understand we are running a business & understand what comes with that such as KPI's, Budgets
**Qualifications**:
- ** MUST HAVE Minimum Level two - Animal Care & Management or equivalent experience/qualification**:
- Have worked or have experience with training puppies/dogs
- Full manual drivers license
