**Mental Health Support Worker**

**Job Purpose**

To resettle individual(s) from hospital settings into the community and provide bespoke environments tailored to their Best Interests, needs and wishes.

- Recognise peoples right to grow and develop and be creative and innovative in supporting this.
- Experience understanding the rationale, formulation and function of individuals behaviours of concerns and providing an evidenced based and well informed skilful response.
- Relevant qualifications and/or experience with working with individuals with complex mental health conditions and other multiple diagnoses such as autism.
- The post-holder will be required to be willing and able to work shift patterns, weekends and public holidays and take part in the organisation’s on-call system.
- The staff member will make sure that they fully understand and fulfil their responsibilities in respect of both Health & Safety and Diversity & Inclusion at all times

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 20-40 per week

**Education**:

- Diploma of Higher Education (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Mental Health Support: 2 years (required)

Licence/Certification:

- NVQ Level 3 Health & Social Care (preferred)
