Steel Fixer

Civil Engineering Crew ltd is a recruitment agency, specialised in the Civil Engineering and Construction sectors. To complement and strengthen our client’s team, we are looking for Steel fixers to join the High Speed 2 project (HS2) based in the West Midlands.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Assemble and erect the steel components required to strengthen reinforced concrete structures
- Positioning, assembling and fixing of different shapes and sizes of steel rebar the correct specification and tolerances
- Interpret contract information, drawings and specifications in order to assemble and install the components correctly
- Ensure health and safety is upheld around the site

**Job Requirements**

We are looking for you to have as a minimum:

- Current Blue CSCS
- NVQ L2 or above in Steelfixing
- Experience : 1 year (required)
- Driving licence (required)

**Physical Working Environment**:
Operatives are required to work outside on a construction site in any weather conditions that are deemed safe.

**Work Pattern**

Full-Time, day shift, Mon to Fri

**Job Types**: Full-time, Temporary contract

**Salary**: From £21.00 per hour

- CSCS card with NVQ level 2 or up in Steelfixing (required)
